The Miami Tower and some nearby buildings light up with synchronized colors. You can see the same shade of blue on a building to the left, and another to the right. The tower was a deep purple for Halloween. Right now it cycles through a few colors, but NOT yellow. (Which is a shame because I was hoping for yellow.)
It should be green and red over Christmas, and so will other buildings. If you want a shot of "huge Christmas presents", consider making a trip to Miami for the holidays.
This is the first time I've seen the Miami Tower lit up in blue. After shooting the museum harbor I flew over and took a quick pano as a "test shot"--not bothering to shoot my usual brackets. I assumed I wouldn't have enough dynamic range, but it actually looks fine. The M3Pro continues to impress with good image quality. (regarding safety, I was flying over a parking garage and nobody was there--I looked!)
Zoom in to 100%, it's big.
