Exactly... so now that you've said that, do I really need to have a SC if I am commenting on brightness?

S21 Ultra: 1500nits
RC Pro: 1000nits
RC: 700nits
Galaxy Tab Active3: 700nits

I've been in sunlight where I could barely see my S21 screen. Apparently the sun is pretty powerful and nits are overrated.

BTW, thanks for the link. Seems like my observation on the difference between 700 and 1000nits is shared by others. Especially these guys:




SRE is just adjusting the contrast to make the details easier to see, not making it brighter.
