it is just the normal mode for flying with a GPS lock and is used mostly getting from one point to another for photos,C is for smoother video and sport is what it saysI get the cinematic and sport mode
Why use position mode?
and sport is what it says
Inop? Inoperable? If so, no as long as you have a GPS signalIs GPS inop in the other modes?
Is GPS inop in the other modes?
GPS and vision system being unavailable causes atti mode, you can't choose atti mode.GPS is inop in A mode. C, P, and S are all GPS safe.
Well, exactly, mostly. On phantom 1 and 2 you could, IIRCGPS and vision system being unavailable causes atti mode, you can't choose atti mode.
@calltrexit was just confusing they calling it position mode for medium speed. sounds like your missing stuff if you use the other 2 modes
on the MM whichever mode you are in the GPS is active, it will only go into ATTI mode if you lose GPS lock such as inside or under structures, then when you release the sticks it will continue to move in the direction it was going till you apply some opposite stick to bring it to a stop thats why they supply prop guards in the combo to help it prevent causing damage when there is no GPS lockOk so you have to use position mode if you want it to stay in place if theres some wind or whatever
Just to add, the downward position sensors would also need to be unavailable.on the MM whichever mode you are in the GPS is active, it will only go into ATTI mode if you lose GPS lock such as inside or under structures, then when you release the sticks it will continue to move in the direction it was going till you apply some opposite stick to bring it to a stop thats why they supply prop guards in the combo to help it prevent causing damage when there is no GPS lock
