Need help--did it wrong

I usually just shoot movies...then take the SD card and download them to my computer. I play the video's...when I see an image I like, I simply stop it and use Windows Snipping Tool. (Like a Crop Tool) I start in the upper left corner of the still image and drag it down to the bottom right. Saving the image as a .jpg image. I put them in a folder with NAME 1, NAME 2, etc.... Been doing that for months without any problems.

If I were being paid and I made a mistake like that I would reshoot the job. A paying client deserves the best quality possible, not a salvage job.

And shoot in RAW with proper editing.
