I had to wipe my phone last week and when I went to load the dji go app I found there was a newer version. I flew with it Sunday and I'm not sure I like it. Has anyone else tried it out yet?

I think the DJI pilot app is a supplement to the DJI Go app and not meant to replace it

Right on. It's a completely separate app that most people are only using to fly enterprise DJI drones (like the Mavic 2 Enterprise).

I tried it as well and the only thing I liked about it is it shows the drone's GPS coordinates. I wish the DJI Go app showed that.
