I have a Mavic Mini and I love it but today I upgraded to an Avata 2. I get it tomorrow. Any Avata 2 pilots here with recommendations or suggestions? Looking REAL FORWARD to flying this thing and getting into Part 107 work. All the videos and reviews on it have been outstanding and being a Part 61 Commercial pilot I want this FPV! Any info helps.🤙🏼

Hello from the Crossroads of America Flystr8.

A lot of pilots have FPV drones but I'm not one them...yet.

You might visit the sister site to this one.

My only advice is if you are getting into FPV for the first time, try to practice daily or as often as you can. Just keep at it over and over and over and after 6 months, you won't believe you're actually doing this.

Hi Flystr8,
Welcome! I have a Mini 4 Pro and an Avata 2. My very strong recommendation is to get Care Refresh and then go crazy! :)
Seriously, I was blown way with how easy and fun it is to fly. I thought it was going to be more difficult, but DJI has done a remarkable job making an FPV drone that is also easy to fly (I haven't crashed yet).

I started out in the basic (training wheels) mode because I was afraid I would crash it immediately, but after a couple of minutes, switched to normal mode and haven't looked back. It feels like I am flying a fighter jet or Star Wars Speeder Bike.

The AVATA 2 is one great Drone thats for sure If you wanna learn to FPV its a great way! You can start in the modes as Jim Martin said and you soon will be speeding around loving every min of it!! This is going to be the time to put your Drones in Manual and never look back. Manual is the ultimate in control freedom and once you start flying that way you won't want to go back Trust me! Flying in "modes" will only hamper your manual skills, so stop using it or only rarely.
Most important........................ Download the Drone sim Liftoff and PRACTICE!!
When you first start with goggles you may feel a little ill after flight give it a short break and get back in there this is you getting used to your new enviroment and the sickness will soon go away.
ALSO: HEY Loma Linda From Bakersfield!!!!
