It's come and gone quickly like everything in this field, it got its usual 6-12 months of being the best thing in town.

Had an S800 but not a 1000. A friend actually just brought me his S800 to recommision it for him to lift some stuff.

Yep back in the day... blimey sounds years ago It was the must have drone for all pro film makers. I can just remember standing next to the pilot watching the monitor on the tripod & saying “one day”. Now look at the size of the Mavics compared to the 1000 how technology changes over the years.

I cannot lie, I love my S1000. I have built 2 of them. One for me and one for a client. They are amazing pieces of tech.
You can actually still purchase the S1000 basic airframe from DJI.
