Hi everybody, I'm pretty excited to find a forum dedicated to the DJI Mavic. I have a DJI Mavic 4 Pro Creator Bundle still in the box. It's not coming out of the box until I finish studying for my part 107 and test out.
Right now I'm flying a Neo with the goggles N3 and motion controller 3. I have the FPV controller 3 as well. But I want to squeeze the motion controller 3 for everything it's worth before moving up to the PS5 controller.
I'm such a new pilot for that my first flight was yesterday. It was quite embarrassing since I couldn't complete the flight control tutorial in the goggles, by reason are the tutorial telling me to press the D5 button on the motion controller. The D5 button is actually on the goggles. But not knowing this, one is not able to complete the tutorial. Anyway. I finally figured it out and I can fly great with it now.
My dream is to eventually get into thermal and lidar in an eventual career change. I'm an armed guard at a government facility at the moment.
Going tomorrow after work to do some filming with the Neo of an old burned down church probably from the 1850's. I think that will make up pretty spectacular 2nd flight.
