Last week, the bad boy got its new firmware. But some people feeling sad about DJI's new policy like high restricion, etc. For me, i don't care about the restriction of flying from DJI, i don't want my $1.300 aircraft lost in the air or crash, i'll be flying carefully. After all, for me it's a photography drone, not somekind of racing drone though the DJI claim mavic maximum speed on sport mode is 65 km/h. But who wants lost the bad boy on a crash when speeding? Anyway, the .1000 firmware really make a change on picture quality...more exposed actually. The picture look brighter, but for me it awful. TBH, i love the color on .900.

Shooting using .900 (convert from raw)

All picture using true color (+1, -1, -1), not ND attached.

So, what about you guys? What's your mavic setting for aerial photo? Let's share and learn together, shall we?

I shot some video and pics today with the .1000 firmware and i thought the pictures and video were better then prior. Note. I did have a ND8 however, Im comparing to shooting with a ND8 on prior as well. All in all when using filters I think think .1000 has been better for me.

IMHO I think that any photo test needs to be done with EXACTLY same light conditions and subject otherwise the comparison is a nonsense.
