I have DJI assistant 2 but it doesn't do anything.

I have a Mavic and all I can see in the centre of the page is a circle telling me how to connect to the Inspire 2. I have just uninstalled and re-installed and it's the same.

Any ideas?

plug your Mavic it and turn it on and the symbol will change to show your Mavic

If it was only that simple ( well under normal circumstances it is)

Now sorted thanks, but I had to locate another thread where another Mavic owner had the same problem. He finally downloaded an older version of DJI Ass2 and it worked first time for him after weeks of nothing. The device manager just wasn't recognising the USB connection of the Mavic.

Anyway, uninstalled the newest version and I downloaded the same version that was recommended to him and hey presto, up popped the picture of the Mavic, first time since I got the darn thing.

depends on what FW you are on but use the search for i created a VM ware

i am not up to date on this and i believe its not so easy to do but there is a guy on you tube who is the man to see about these things and he has a service very cheaply to help u along
