New Mavic Mini user and drone pilot

Hi guys just wanted to introduce myself, ma name is Tavio and I am in Phoenix Arizona and hope I can still fly my drone in our weather temperatures.

You picked a winner in the Mini. Don't be put off by its small size and low price. It's a high performance quad with a great camera. We have several members in Phoenix and Tucson, and in other places like Dubai, where it's hot hot hot!

Just be careful flying in high winds. Read the manual, and practice lost drone recovery. Believe me, you will crash your mini, and you will lose your mini. Don't wait until that happens to learn how to recover your lost drone.

Lots of neat stuff to shoot all over AZ. Whenever you need help, there are over 100,000 of us here to provide guidance as you grow as a pilot and photographer. Just ask!

Hi Tavio, welcome from another Mini owner in the Phoenix area. You're right about it being HOT right now - and there are numerous wildfires with "No Fly Zones" (NFZ) around the fire areas. Early mornings are better for lower temperatures and light winds. I find that my smartphone gets HOT before the Mavic Mini has any problems with heat. Maximum operating temperature is 104 degrees and here's the forecast "Highs" for the next few days... Happy flying

With over 45 flights total distance of 15km
And total flight time of 6.45h.
But I have over 100 plus hours of flight time with many drones.
