New member to the world of drones, I just purchased a Mavic 2 zoom several days ago. Before flying I wanted to spend some time reading thru threads and learning as much as possible.

Good morning from the east coast. You've come to the right place. That is a very nice craft to get started with. Very expensive too, so take it slow and learn everything you can before you put it in the air. Ask lots of questions.

Welcome, I'm in Billings. Also have a zoom. Unlike much of the US, Montana still has a lot of open land and hassle free flying. Enjoy

I love that state!!!! So amazingly beautiful, crazy to not fly a drone there. Kalispell or Whitefish? My family has vacationed there a few times. Just rent a house and have as much fun as you can in that awesome snow. We don’t know anything about snow in Austin Texas
