Welcome to the forum from the deserts of Arizona! Enjoy.
You're in general correct about buying cheap and learn ... but,Droning isn't a good hobby to get into on the cheap. You WILL want more batteries, landing pad, strobe(s), charger, cables, range extender, a good screen, FPV, extra propellers, case, prop guards, apps...the list goes on. If you go new, save yourself some grief (and money) and get a fly more kit. BUT...as a first drone, might want to learn on the less expensive Mini 1. Will hurt less in case of mishaps while on the learning curve.
Why not? It's a servicable drone providing you fly within its limitations. Of course if you can not do that then what drone is?Are people over there really paying 260£ for second hand MM. ?
