I know, a little shaky, but free flying is a little tougher when you actually have to do it.
I have a deeper respect for the all the great videos piloted by experienced group members.
Getting camera setting right are also much easier watching someone else do it on a YouTube video.
I just hope the subject is worthwhile, I don’t think it will offend any group member.
With this groups help I hope to be able to produce a better quality video.

Hi Mike

Subject looks good, but the video is as you say a little shaky, you obviously flew it free hand, you would have got a better result using the POI ( point of interest ) mode or the Tripod mode, in which the action of the control joysticks are dampened, so Yaw is not as fierce.

But good first try

Thanks for the encouragement.
I want to get the feel and confidence of maneuvering the Mavic so my next video don’t wind up in the “Crashed My Drone” Topic category. I will let the photography be secondary until the flying becomes second nature.

I think you should slow down. Lol just kidden. Nice job first run out. It just takes practice kinda feels weird to leave the yard and do a flight but that will pass sort of.

Nice.

Not a bad attempt at all!

My main suggestion would be that 1 - 2 minutes is enough for the subject.

Thanks for posting!

Good start. Practice makes perfect! Keep it up

Don't worry about any shakiness Mike. You are out there and flying on your own. Like everything in life, it gets easier and better with time behind the sticks. You are officially indoctrinated into 'this' group.

Keep spinning up!!
