No area pins in self unlocking app.

I have successfully used the self unlocking feature a couple of times now but for some reason today there is no pin to tap in the zone I want to unlock. The odd thing is that the areas around my community have location pins…my area, none.
I am attempting this unlock from home while online before I go to the launch site.
please advise…TIA
