No map on mapbox display

My old DJI Smart Controller screen died. So purchased a used one off ebay. Reprogrammed it with all my account information and is flying my Mavic 2 fine. The mapbox map is not showing any map data.

On my old Controller, even if it did not have a map, it still showed gps tracks and could find my way back to where it started. When switching to the mapbox screen it is just black. Tried map updates and that is not working.

Any idea how to fix this issue?

The most likely reasons for the lack of map data on your Smart Controller are
a poor or nonexistent Wi-Fi connection, disabled location services, or ungranted app permissions. To fix this, check your controller's Wi-Fi settings and ensure location services are enabled. You may also need to grant all necessary app permissions and, as a last resort, perform a factory reset and re-setup.
