Not my first but my most fun flight yet!

Today I found a wide open field to fly. I've flown before and up north but this was by far the best time I've had so far! The Mavic is so awesome. Looks like I'm going to need more batteries very soon. 3 is not going to do it! HAHAHA!

I find that three batteries work if the first dead one gets on the charge right away.
But if charging on location isn't an option then more batteries is a must.

I'm still waiting for the last two batteries and a few other things to arrive from my order with DJI.

I think that's about right with the batteries. I think it takes about an hour to charge so that would work out perfect! I'm going to try that next time. Thanks for the tip!

Yes! I switched back and forth. I think, for me at least, once you get enough altitude it's almost easier to fly in sport mode? Do you like sport mode?

lol i know the exact same feelin'. and i only have 1 battery atm.
for now 1 is enough as im just trying to squeeze a quick flight a day from my busy schedule.
prolly when i get the hang of flying and find out more info about batteries on board a passenger plane.

Just remember to let them cool down before slapping them on the charge.

Glad you are having fun with your Mavic. IMO I think the Mavic is one of the best drones DJI has come out with. Have fun and safe flying!

Was going to add .... allow the battery to cool down before tossing them back on the charger. I'm thinking 4 batteries would be about right if you wanted to fly continuously.

Fantastic!! I love mine as well. It flies rock solid and it's so quiet compared to its siblings in the DJI line. I have a P3P now also and it's nowhere near the same!!

I also have 3 batteries and want more.
