Ntsc vs Pal vs 25fps vs30fps

Hi guys

I have a question regarding the above. I live in South Africa and recently got my Mavic. Do also have a P3P. The Ntsc setting is for northern hemisphere right and Pal for southern? Now Ntsc gives up to 30Fps while Pal has a maximum of 25Fps. What really makes the Ntsc vs Pal so important for where you are located? Could I set it to Ntsc and make use of 30Fps even if I am in Southern Hemisphere? Thanks

Nothing to do with hemispheres but with countries.
You can do what you want, but if you want to sell footage to say your local TV station and your country uses PAL they won't accept your NTSC footage.

The only time you'll notice is with electric lights, which if you use 30fps in a country with 50hz electricity may appear to flicker. If you don't intend to fly at night you won't notice it anyway
