Number of images in automatic spherical panorama

When taking a spherical panorama, the MA presently takes 25 captures (3 vertical shots every 45 degrees, plus one straight down). Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the automatic capture to increase this number? Say for example, 3 every 30 degrees, plus the downward one.

Not automatically. Or probably with another app like Litchi.
