Odd problem yesterday as DJI go 4 started talking in a foreign language..

Yesterday I flew a long way out and there was a small helicoptor pad somewhere apparently that I didn’t realize, and the drone started telling me about this in French Im pretty sure.. Has this ever happened to anyone else where the drone or DJI go 4 started randomly changing languages? I didn’t even know the language could change. Could this be related to a very long flight with low signal?

Just to verify, watch this video and check where your default language is set. If it is manually set to English, try Auto. IF Auto try English...seems like a bug/glitch with the AirSense system integration

Never happened to me.. this is pretty weird.....

Does your drone have AirSense? There's been a bug with the Mavic Air 2 and DJI Fly that the AirSense warnings speak in Mandarin Chinese. I've encountered it a few times now.

What is PRC? It was longest flight I ever had with the drone and a stock controller.. 7800 feet.. but when it happened a helicopter was about to take off very near where the drone made it to, that I didnt know was there. I wondered if he sent a “anti”drone signal” like jails are doing now..

also, my drone gets near a jail it now says “a jail with anti drone surveillance may cause loss of control and function, fly responsibly”. Has anyone else dealt with that?

Im flying a Mavic 2 Pro, I have flown over this jail many times and the last update is the first time I have seen it... It was in Sevierville, TN

This alert came up like I was in a NFZ, you have to acknowledge that you will be careful around the jail... Very different than anything I have ever seen there. Ive flown there for years and it just started. Has to be a new anti drone signal or some new tech because I flew there 2 weeks ago and it wasn’t there then....

That's odd, as I have't heard of any anti drone signals that jails send out: prison & jail locations are typically just marked on DJI's Fly Safe map as red "restricted zones" and DJI drones won't enter those areas unless you have special permission and obtain a custom unlock from DJI.

If you get a chance to take a screen shot of the warning next time, that would be much appreciated!

I have gotten the bug in the fly app several times. I get that your talking about the go App though.
