Thanks Nate, your distance is incredible, the cyclone is 3w boosted, just a shame I'm getting HD signals loss. Living in London UK there isnt anywhere elevated close to me for a decent run (not that I know of) I might have to take a trip to Wales, plenty of nice hills looking down for miles there.Nice flight **mick**! That really good distance considering the difficulties you had taking off and the fact that you went over 900ft up. You should look into getting some boosters for that cyclone antenna to avoid having to go so high. Another option, if you can find a spot where you're slight elevated as compared to the terrain you're flying over, you'll be able to keep altitude down to around 200ft. Hauling those huge dual 4000s up to 917ft takes a lot of juice!
Edit: Perhaps that Cyclone antenna already has boosters. In that case it's a matter of finding a good spot to fly with minimal foliage in the way. That antenna should be plenty good to get you out over 60,000ft.
You can't beat a bit of reverse engineering lol@TheLightSpeed! Just done mine. A fair amount of glue. Now just have to insulate and make it look good again.

@CyberNate May have missed it but do you have the Airdata from your record run? What speed/mode were you running?
By the way, I no longer have the record. It was smashed twice by the same guy.
great flight man! thats a heck of a run back down to 1%, keep it up!JakeMaxxUAV

My Leaderboard is 38,057 ft, Stock RC and battery mod for my 4000mah lihv.
Weather Height Wind 100m-156m is 6mph.
Flight Air Time 26m 24s / Takeoff Battery 99% / Landing Battery 1%
My mavic stock RC is signal weak HD feed at 6,500m to 11,600m. from with blind hill.. i am not sure.
Great flight, I had the same setup for 33,763ft and it looked like the limit for that setup. I flew in normal mode rather than sport though. Maybe flying faster is better?

Pair these with a new Mavic battery and you can get up to 43 minutes flight time at distance run speeds.
My 2 x 4000mah I was tested hover and few slowly move flight is 36mins? when i get up to 43mins flight time on full throttle?
Correct flight times?
2 x 4000mah = max 43mins
1 x 5200 mah = max 32mins
Myself just think use full throttle at full speed the flying.
Can you confirm me the flight time? When i am ready for both batterys mod.
2 x 4000mah = max 43mins?
1 x 5200 mah = max 32mins?
32mph out. 33.6mph back in RTH mode with full right stick. I don't always fly this way, but it was ideal for the conditions that day. Just the slightest head wind.

Ok guys, now that some people are finally getting their Mavic's delivered, people are wondering what kind of range this thing has compared to the P4 & P3. We're looking for the longest distance from home, not the total traveled. If you would like to be added, please post the following:
I will keep this list updated. If I miss your post, please send me a PM.
- Screenshot showing the maximum distance from home, either from the DJI Go App, Litchi, or Healthydrones.
- Screenshot of you making it back home
- Please describe the flying environment, such as tree interference, hills, buildings, etc.
- What type of mods, if any, such as antenna upgrades, battery mods, etc.
- Tag me in the post so I get a notification. Tagging here is just like Twitter, @JakeMaxxUAV

@JakeMaxxUAV 45,884ft
Just completed my first dual 3000mah lihv setup. Roughly 35min flight time. 4.5mph average wind with a few 12mph gusts. The Mavic performed without a hitch. GO crashed as did my AZ screen recording software and I did get to 46,587ft but Airdata only recorded 45,884ft so that will have to do! Gutted, I wanted 3rd place! Any one know any decent .mp4 recovery software / a way to extract max distance from .dat?
