It says its a parrot disco but I've checked the range on that and it has a list range of up to 2k. This must be cgi or an upgraded model.
How did you get the range?

It is a parrot disco but he use a flight plan...i have same model....it can go more then 20k distance and back....no connection need....just phone or tablet and parrot flight plan...

The Disco has about 3km RC/video range but it lets you do flight plans that execute beyond connection loss.
Personally find it uninsteresting since what I like is "being there live", couldn't care less about seeing things only once it's back.
Does fulfill some people's egos/view counts quite well by allowing to post such clips with impressive numbers though.

I love the RTH feature and the corkscrew auto land feature.
The flight time is very good too.
You still can be there in the cockpit from what I've read live but not with flight plan.
DJI need to bring a range of fixed wing planes next.
