Guys
I am looking at being able to do hand-held shots indoor with a cradle....any thoughts on which method is easier for smoother video?

For use with a drone ?

Katana is well known and looks good . . . Search results for query: katana

There are other such things on ebay, like . . . Camera Holder Tray Mount Handheld Bracket Stabilizer for DJI Mavic Pro Drone | eBay

Or really cheap and nasty . . . Drone Accessories Handle Mount Bracket For DJI Mavic Pro / 2 Pro&Zoom/Mavic Air | eBay

Obviously having props off and folded up like the Katana or first ebay product would be nice.

Yes, those are the things I'm looking at.
For the M2P I think I need the controller and phone attached. Question is, which helps provide smooth footage, one or two handed?

I'd imagine it's the gimbal that provides the smooth footage. The question is which will you find more comfortable to use.

I agree totally . . . just holding my MP and using it handheld from underneath, you can take video and photos fine that way.

I'd say the first 2 pics of mine above look most practical, 2 handed Katana I think that would be held higher (up near chest level) than the one handed (first) ebay model, which looks like it'd be held lower near waist level.

If you just used it folded it would be similar to the Osmo Pocket. With a handle/grip on top you would be using the weight of the drone as a balance. The main thing is to minimize camera bounce when walking.
