Yesterday (Friday July 11)) I finally completed editing and producing our Poland trip video. We returned home May 10th, so that is officially 2 full months to get this done. I did not work on it at all for several weeks, then I started to edit the stills and select the videos. After that, it was marathon days sitting here at the computer, sorting hundreds of images and videos and deciding what to include and what to leave out. I purposely left off an entire major museum visit where I took over a hundred images (World War II museum in Gdansk).

I have narrowed it down to about 18 minutes plus end title. It could easily have been double or more.

We can honestly say this was one of the best trips ever, both in enjoyment, education, and pure fun. We loved everything about the country, the food, the people, scenery, and the culture. I hope this video will give you a flavor of our trip. It is a bit rushed at times, because I was really trying to keep it as short as possible.

Thanks for sharing Dale, I watched the video in its entirety! Interesting trip, especially the historical reminders of the horrific Nazi period and the Holocaust, which are well documented. The changes in image format are sometimes a little annoying, as are some ground videos that are a bit too fast-forwarded. We would have enjoyed visiting the interior of some superb castles you encountered during this wonderful stay in Poland, during which, clearly, you were also able to enjoy the local cuisine! You were very lucky to be able to fly your drone in built-up areas without being bothered, as European regulations strikly prohibit such real overflights (drones must be kept at least 100 meters (328 feet) from buildings, cities, towns, or structures and must not be flown within 30 meters (98 feet) of people or vehicles).
