Overseas functionality

First, thanks for accepting me to this group.
I have a Mavic Pro.
I spend part of each year in Europe (Poland), and last year took my drone. I found that I could launch the drone, and control its movements with no problem but could not access the camera. I assumed that the air travel had jogged something, that would need repair on my return. However, when I tested it back in the US, it worked perfectly.
Can anyone tell me why this is?

The explanation is a mystery but it was unrelated to your geographic location.
DJI drones work anywhere in the world without any complications.
