P4P camera is a Zenmuse X4S w/o the 360° gimbal(?)

Is that the gist of it?

While a 1" sensor is not all that great, it is 2x the area of the MP's sensor (albeit at near double the pixels).

So, more dynamic range; a range of apertures, 1 m to infinity focus ...

I'm really talking myself into the P4P.

It's a hell of a camera. The larger sensor, variable apature, and 100mb recording rate are significant changes. In addition to that you have 5 way obstacle avoidance (which makes follow mode more usable) and a wider FOV. With obstacle avoidance on it has a higher speed of 30mph. These are all very significant improvements along with 3 minute longer flight time. I would be all over the P4P if it weren't for the size. I love being able to take the Mavic with me all the time. I fly it everyday that there's no rain. I hear ya though. VERY TEMPTING!
