Passed my Part 107 yesterday

Congratulations to you also!
My slightly too large cap badge. I have had people in parks and other places tell me "you must know what you're doing, I can see you're a licenced pilot", even though it doesn't say licensed (I got that bit wrong), so it benefits both ego and public relations.😂

Yea, I’m going to get a cap that says something that adds credibility to my flying just to cut down on the bad boy drone pilot image.

Great news. Greg was on live with OriginalDobo the other night in a Jeopardy style game and the questions weren't necessarily technical, but still difficult.

So, at 74 years old I got the urge to get my sUAS Pilot Certificate. It’s been over 50 years since I’ve taken any kind of test and I had no idea how well I would do. I took Greg’s course from Pilot Institute and passed with a 97%. The test was difficult but, thanks to Gregg, I was well prepared. I feel like I am a much safer and more confident pilot now. I encourage this step, even for purely recreational pilots.
Awesome sir, congregation.

Congratulations I am 70 going to take mine Oman

Congratulations!

I’m about 76% through the course from Pilot Institute and I’m taking my time. It’s a lot more to learn than I thought but like you said we will be better pilots because of it.

What sad to see is now knowing what I know and understanding the rules and regulations I see so many influencers and normal people breaking the rules and posting their content. What’s sucks is seeing media cover these content creators flights and praise them for the footage not knowing they are advertising an illegal flight, which further confuses people who want to get into the hobby.

From Bobby…”I'm 76 and have been thinking about studying for the 107. You may have spurred me on Dbez1! Thanks for the post. Old farts flying drones.”

I wonder what the average age is of drone pilots? I’ve seen multiple posts on this forum of people in their 80’s.
