Haven't received my drone yet, but I've been seeing some videos of people having issues with Android. Is anyone having issues with the App crashing during flight? And if so, does the mavic return to home if you lose connection to the app? I currently have a Samsung Gs5, worried that it might happen with my phone.

No. RTH will only be automatically initiated 3 seconds after the remote controller disconnects from the Mavic.
