Like they say - No Pain, No Gain.
Flying cold is not ideal, but ya gotta do it when ya can. Flying in winter - here in Western NC - it's the best of times and worst of times. Best, as little foliage when I'm shooting waterfalls and such. Worst - no foliage to see those really small limbs that put your drone in the water if not careful.
Slowly becoming nicer - warmer temps and trees / foliage sprouting some buds so you can see more of the branches. Now waiting for some good rains to push the low to no waterfalls up so you can see them and make the ones you can see even better with lots of flow.
