However, the best strategy is to gain altitude well before 10% to allow for the Autoland decent back to your location on a glide path while you fly straight back.

I'm not convinced that using batter power to climb is better than using that battery power to fly toward the landing point. Drones don't glide.

Got to have some workarounds that make it safer and easier.
