Pro4 mini Waypoints and obsatcle avoidance

Hi C
Make sure you have a read of the waypoint flight section of the manual. If the drone senses an obstacle during a mission, it will just hover. If it loses signal I don’t know what it will do. If DJI have lumped Dorset into the EU (probably) the drone will not continue the mission, if Dorset is outside the EU, it should continue the mission if that’s what you’ve told it to do.

Hi B,
For me, remembering lots of instructions, especially under pressure is difficult. I have a few items: car, ham radio etc plus the drone, and getting muscle memory of how they work takes a long time, so too much is not welcome. I actually don't know exactly how to turn the car lights on, because they are automatic, when it gets dark, and I don't remember what I read about it, so just leave them alone. ( I got a speeding fine, while messing about with auto cruise control :))
I had an early version of Ardupilot, for my drones, but never used it for the above reason.

I looked at Litchi, it looks good for most people but I think I'll leave it for now, and see if I can manage with locations, that I get by different means, then typed into a 'mission' I'll remember how I do it, as it is logical! If I find it cant be automated, and a pain, then I'll re-look at Litchi.
Thanks, C
