Problem with shutter speed

For some reason my camera shutter speed would not go up past 1/30s. Only on video mode. Anyone know why.

This is normal, you are filming at 30fps so the slowest shutter speed you can have is 1/30. Filming at 60fps you would only be able to go to 1/60 etc.
