Problems connecting to DJI assistant 2

I try to find a solution to connect my Mavic to DJI Assistant...
This is the log of this program I got when I install it on my PC (win 10) and try to connect my Mavic (not a Phantom4!).
Does somebody could find where is the problem? Sorry for my English... ;-)

Might want to reinstall and make sure the RNDIS driver is installed properly, if you didn't allow install it would not work.
i am currently having the same issue, someone mentioned holding down F8 while booting up my PC something about signatures then turning off antivirus and firewall then trying to connect, i have yet to try it though

Hey guys, new to this forum but just read through most of these posts. I came here because I received my Goggles 2 days ago and have been having trouble activating them. Assistant doesn't see the device. Ive tried reinstalling on all 3 computers (iMac, Macbook 2017 and Macbook 2011) and have not had any luck with any of them. Ive followed the instructions very carefully and have tried 4 different USB cables... my firewalls are off and there are no restrictions on any of the computers. Does anyone have any advice? Is it worth it... I'm on day 2 of trying to activate.

thanks

So, I can connect and update the aircraft but when I connect the RC the pc doesn't recognize it. Have tried reloading, turning off firewall and most anything I can think of. DJI suggested I install 1.1.8, which I did. No difference. Thoughts?

My problems all ended up being cable related.

Thanks for the information Damien66. Editing the Firewall rules fixed mine.

I THINK THIS IS THE SOLUTION!

Use the discontinued DJI Assistant 2 (not the Mavic version, because DJI reasons)

This worked for me on a Macbook air after trying the DJI Assistant 2 Mavic version on a half dozen different windows & mac computers. My vision sensors are now calibrated, after about 5 months of off-and-on battling. Longer rant below:

Like many in this thread I plugged in my Mavic Pro to a computer, downloaded the DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic, because I have a Mavic Pro, and there are many software versions on the DJI download site, so why not choose the one that lists the name of my device? Seemed reasonable, but like most of you, first you install the software, then the sketchy driver that comes after, and you plug in the Mavic drone, and nothing happens! So you swap out a cable, even though you know **** well that cable you are using is a data cable and not just a basic charging cable, most of us have the white DJI branded cable which makes you feel good. "No way the cable is the problem, I've used it to transfer data or look at my SD card without taking it out of my Mavic. It works. You're right, the cable was not the problem. So you download the DJI assistant 2 for Mavic software on every computer in your house or office. You put it on macs, pcs, old laptops, whatever. different cables. different computers. different operating systems. nothing will recognize your mavic pro. All you want to do is calibrate the vision sensors or do a firmware update. Some of you may be itching to use that simulator, whatever. No you dont need to plug the controller in, no the controller doesn't even need to be on, no the SD card doesn't need to be removed....

THE ANSWER IS TO USE THE OLD DISCONTINUED NON-MAVIC BRANDED DJI ASSISTANT 2
JUST THE PLAIN DJI ASSISTANT 2, NOT THE MAVIC ONE

This worked for my cousin and a friend that were in the same boat so I'm confident enough to post this rant. Good day fellow pilots.

I bought the Mini Mavic 5 days ago in London, got home and set it up, no connection, so did it again and again and again.
I was trying to get a connection for 6 hours until exhausted then I gave up, was up early trying to resolve the issue another 4-6 hours again no connection so I called DJI for support who advised to download DJI assistant 2 which I did on my Mac pro 5.1 (and yes it is up to date with latest OS and drivers)
Disabled firewall, ran DJI assistant 2, and still no connection. Next, I went to my back up the computer a dell precision T5600 again latest version of windows 10 pro with all drivers updated and yet again no connection.
the DJI tech told me to return the device and ask for another which I did later that evening just before the shops closed.
The following morning I left for Italy (Where I have shoots planned) not having the time to open/test the MM but I thought confidently that this issue could not happen twice with the same model device?
But it did I got here and have tried and tried to get it to communicate with the controller/drone but no luck so I thought even though my phone is on the list of compatible devices maybe there is a glitch so ran DJI assistant 2 then connecting the drone via the USB connector waiting for the familiar connection sound (Check!) but still no connection, and yes all firewall has been disabled I have nothing that can be blocking this.
I have also tried installing it on my partner's PC as well as her MacBook air as well as my 2015 Macbook pro all without success?

with all this, I am exhausted, and to be honest, beginning to hate this drone, I never thought how something I was really looking so forward to could turn out so bad.

Kind regards.

HH

Found another version of DJI assistant for Mavic tried it on the computer no deal, tried it on my MacBook again not connecting then I tried it on my GF's mac air and it bit,
It sees the controller and the Mavic mini but once I connect the two together again I am back with no connection.

I have made a fair few screenshots so you can see everything (I hope they help!) I can when the phone (p30 Pro) is connected to the controller and Drone (MM) is switched on.sorry but they may not be in the correct order : (

As you will be able to see from the pictures there is no way of linking or calibrating the controller to the drone it just cannot see anything and all the settings are set to either 'Off. Null. or Void'.

Thanks in advance

Best
