Propellers - Master Airscrew

I have used MAS (both Endure and Stealth) exclusively for about 4 years with my mav. 2's, keep the original DJI props as emergency spares. On my mini 3 pro: the original DJI props are 3 years old and still going strong.

The Stealth design does have a lower tone, less insect-like, which is definitely less noticeable and irritating. They do appear to slightly alter the handling characteristics.

The Endure set has a larger blade surface area which gives more lift and is particularly useful if you end up near the top of a mountain range (the mav.2's service ceiling is 6,000 feet and most of that limit is down to the stock props not being able to generate sufficient lift in thin air).

I can't comment on greater flight time because all of my birds come back down with at least 25% left in the battery.

Although I haven’t yet pulled the trigger on a mini 4 pro doesn’t mean I don’t still have questions. Do pilots here use Master Airscrew or stick with OEM? I want to buy extra props and found the Master Airscrew which have some nice claimed for improved flight & maybe a bit quieter.
A tad quieter, no discernible performance qualities, quality build, and most of all…pretty. I put them on all my drones. ✅

2 years later I still have the first and original set of OEM props that came with my Mini4P, and they remain undamaged, so I am not remotely minded to change them any time soon. I don't find there is any need for that machine to be quieter than it already is, but I have seen a good few comparison videos over the years, with db meters involved that show fairly tiny differences between OEM props and the ones that claim they are quieter.

I do see the advantage of brighter colours / better visibility of course, but again, in comparison videos I have seen the difference (in practice at distance) is marginal at best. If I wanna see it further away I am going to fit a strobe on the underside, which I suspect is orders of magnitude more effective !

MAS props are much stiffer, more brittle, and therefore more fragile, and will shred upon impact, rather than bend, like the softer OEM DJI props. That means you'll be less likely to be able to recover from an impact with a tree branch, and still limp back home.

MAS are great props. They are Brittle, for a reason so stay away from bushes and don't get too close to trees. You will NOT see any flight time changes and they simply change the "tone" You will like them tho.
