Lots of contraptions to spend money one for this hobby of ours. I confess to straddling the fence of being cheap- and creative (see Vindibox). My Mini 1 and M2 Pro controllers are relatively compact and lightweight. But the controller for the MA2 and Mini 2 are bigger, heavier and balanced differently. Even with my smaller controllers I've wanted to and had the need to set them down on the ground. I thought about one of those $10 contraptions on Amazon and while probably will do the job, I couldn't bring myself to part with the $10 for a function that I thought could be produced with something I already had at home. And then it came to me... A LANYARD!
But how would I attach it to the controller. While it wasn't my first though and I tried a short strap first, I had my second brain fart: An elastic hairband. Short enough. Strong. Shock absorbant. Why no?
And so I give you (drum roll)... The Vindiharness!
It seems that because of where the elastic band sits and attaches balances the controller and phone fairly well and as the phone leans against the body it stays in position so that I can even take my hands off of it for a moment and still be able to look down at the screen... and not have to put the thing down when I need both hands for something. The best part it that it cost me absolutely nothin'!
Just thought I'd share for those who might have been thinking the same thing.
