Hey fellow pilots. So i had a family friend, who is a realtor, ask me if I would be interested in taking some pics of lake front properties. I currently only have my drone registered for hobbyist use. If I go back on the FAA site and do the $15 dollar registration for commercial use, would that suffice? Or is there some long, drawn out process? I just don't know if it would be worth my time to go to extreme lengths for something that probably isn't going to make me more than a few bucks here and there. Also, anyone do any work like this? If so, what kind of compensation do you look for? Thanks everyone!!

You need a Remote Pilot Airman Certificate in order to fly commercially. See more details here.

Like Msinger said, and I might add, the cost of not getting a part 107, and getting caught, could be much more than the "few bucks", you will make.
