First question: I hear that the new DJI Mini 5 Pro cannot be sold in the US. (Avail elsewhere in the world??) Supposedly, those offered on eBay and/or Amazon are grey market and so no US warranty. Is this true?

Also heard they were 1 gram over the FAA mandated weight for no registering/etc.????

Second question: Was told there are no parts available to do repairs on Mini 3 Pro's and DJI will not accept them back for repairs. True??

True. But like everything in life, this is subject to change.

There's nothing to stop them being sold, but due to difficulties created by US Customs, DJI is not exporting to the US market.

Not necessarily ... The specs state:
The actual weight is approximately 249.9 g ± 4 g and is subject to the actual product.

DJI does indeed have a shortage of mini 3 pro parts and at the moment is rejecting certain repairs for that model BUT I don’t think this will be a long term problem and future repairs will be made, Who knows when tho.

DJI include a few Class 1 stickers in the box so if your does turn out to be over the magic 250g you can still fly, just with slightly more restrictive rules. But as police don't routinely carry scales, and will likely only get round to weighing a UAV if they end up confiscating it for some serious other infraction, then it is really very unlikely that anyone will ever know your craft is fractionally over the maximum and it will be a very plausible defence that you didn't know any different because you 'trusted the manufacturer'.

Answers vary but for now, and who knows what will ever change, DJI is not allowed to bring in drones only, so far, not sure on parts. I've got the Mini-3 Pro and earlier this year they said they were no longer offering the refresh program renewal on them. Others have posted here that their warranty was still in affect but they couldn't get them repaired/replaced by DJI and some said they were being refunded their money and it sounded like only for the refresh care price, not the drone. You can still get parts via ebay, even drones that no longer work, but all for parts. I just got some myself and fixed a damaged part on mine and I'm back flying again!

DJI is allowed to bring in all the drones they want. For obvious reasons they choose not to do business here and yes that includes parts for almost every model except Enterprise. How long will they do this? Who knows for sure but you won’t see them at the Best Buy for a long while.

One possible reason why DJI stopped bringing in new models is to show government agencies and commercial companies what they can expect when DJI is unable to get FCC approval for new models

Since it is well documented that DJI cannot get any of their drones past U.S.Customs, and into the United States, nor any Refurbs for repair/warranty replacements, how can you possibly claim that,

"DJI is allowed to bring in all the drones they want" ?

DJI isnt trying to get Drones past U.S. customs because there not sending them here by choice. The U.S. hasnt banned DJI products, they have just made them nearly impossible to sell here. DJI isnt sending parts here either. I have not heard of anyones replacement Drone being stopped by customs or turned around. maybe that has happened but I have not read of the case.
