Due to a careless mistake on my part I managed to break one of my antennas. The break is right at the joint between the swivel mount and antenna body. The mini-coax solder joint to the antenna PCB is visible and intact, thankfully. After some testing it appears to be mostly a cosmetic issue for now. I still seem to have normal range and function. But it is weak overall and unfolding the antenna is now a delicate affair. These antenna parts are available and I have one on order. Wondering if anyone has done a swap like this and has any insights?

Thanks!

Try here. The part you need will need to be separated from the hinge base. It has a detent area that holds it in place. That area is visible in your picture. A little heat from a hair dryer will make plastic a bit more playable for the removal. They need to be persuaded to get them apart.

Thanks for that. I did order the part from them. After looking into what's involved with the disassembly of the RC Pro I'm hoping I can just swap the antenna cover as you mention. We'll see.

The trick is holding the swivel/hinge base while pulling and prying the upper piece off. You also need to not damage the antenna board in this process. The board itself may be glued to the inside. Take your time.

I am a new owner of Mavic 3 and RC PRO. It's a hand-me-down from my son. The left antenna is also broken (cracked) and I would like to replace it. I see that this part is approximately $47. Was anyone successful in replacing the antenna, and how?

Is it just the outer antenna cover that is cracked or the antenna panel also?
The RC Pro is a very difficult controller to open if you need to replace the entire antenna. Not recommended if you can avoid it.
Picture would help.

Here is a picture of the cracked left antenna. I have ordered a replacement from the link provided. I had the crack wrapped by black electric/duct tape, and the antenna seemed to function. I flew the Mavic 3 today to a reasonable distance and 1700 ft, and the transmission is fine. Hence, the wires inside the antenna are not severed (my guess). I took the tape out to take this photo and I replaced it after the photo. I am grateful for any help you can extend.

I just checked. The right antenna is developing a hairline crack as well. You are correct. I just flew the Mavic 3 up to approx. 2 miles, and I lost signal (or I received an error in yellow saying there is a signal interference). Albeit there were trees and buildings between the RC and the drone (so there was no direct line of sight). Is that normal?

Yes, in that environment.
The cracks or damaged outer antenna shell would not effect its function.
