Great opportunity for work as their official pilot for search and rescue, you should assist them with funding their own heavy duty bird like the Matrice 200 with thermal and everything but if they are small search and rescue team, funding is probably very short in demand..good on you!

If the loss/disappearance was recent, <30-60 min, an IR camera with good resolution would be the best bet for searching like this.
