Hi.
Yesterday the Aurora Borealis went insane here in Northern Norway, and I had to try out some pictures.

I put my MP2 on a solid surface, and used 8sec shutter speed, ISO400 and f/2,8.
After taking 2-3 stills, i noticed on the iphone that the image had a lot of red noise in it. To be sure that the front LEDs didnt ruin my shot, i turned them off.

Still my photos got a red line on top and on the bottom. A shame, since the pictures looked OK.

Any ideas what caused this?
There was no lights surrounding me that could cause this.

Thanks.

They were visible here too, no pics though.
Do you get that taking a shot in complete darkness?
I wondered if it was caused by refraction, in any case if that's to be expected and they all do it, it is disappointing.
