I suspect to replace the middle shell on a MPP, you will need to desolder and resolder the motor wires as you need to pass them through the middle shell.

Best get this professionally done.

JB Weld..as in .."gear down and welded" When the tower says "check gear down cleared to land"
No.. I would say you should bite the bullet and send it to DJI or a reputable shop.
