I’m not planning on failing the test, but if I do, is there a limit on the number of times that you can retest?

I don't think there is a limit, you just have to wait 14 days before retesting. I think you can do it as many times as you are willing to fork out $150.

Yes, did you not know it was $150 to test? The certification is free, but you have to pay the testing site to administer the test.
