Rollback from latest firmware?

I got my mavic yesterday and did an upgrade out of the box. I'm used to use litchi and really can't stand dji go and it's full retardness.

My question is if firmware downgrade is advisable?

Should work fine if you use DJI Assistant 2.
there is always a slight risk when changing the firmware.

I downgraded mine from 0500>0400 (with Assistant on Mac), until the few issues get sorted.
All the third party apps seem to have some issues with the new firmware.

I actually downgraded via dji go app soon after posting this. Worked like a charm and I've been using both litchi and autopilot today with 100% success, except I feel like litchi slows the bird down quite a bit..... Do you have an idea what I might be missing?
