Rooting tablet. (Samsung tab a)

Hello,
All this morrning was thinkin about routing my tablet and changing device name. (So it match dji fly app)

Any one tryied this?
Other benefits of rooted device?
Saw people using ipads, but i'm not Apple fan.

One advantage to have your android device rooted is that you can stop the RC charging your phone or tablet ...

This app --> Battery Charge Limit [ROOT] is really nice, you don't risk forget to deactivate it, discharge your device completely & by that don't have any possibility to charge it up again as with other similar apps. Have set mine to only accept charge to my phone from 15% battery ... once reached that it charge up to 40% & stops.
