RTH, then went above 400 ft?

Did I miss it, or did someone already answer why the Mavic flew above the set RTH altitude?

I have a slightly different issue with mine. After the drone has returned home, i might take off and fly it a little (maybe 5meters away) and when the battery gets lower, the drone attempts to RTH by climbing to the pre-defined height even though homepoint is only a few meters away. Does anyone else experience this?

Same thing happened to me. Definitely climbing to avoid the "obstacle" it's seeing in the sun.

Turn off front obstable avoidance when the sun is low, or just turn it off altogether unless you're flying somewhere that you might need it.
Or just turn the drone away from the Sun!

I didn't know you could turn obstacle avoidance off for RTH but leave it on during manual flight. I suppose in this case, either option being turned on would have prevented me from flying it back home because that sun is so bright and large when I'm flying it near the mountain foothills in the evening. When the sun is low, I guess I will need to turn obstacle avoidance off for both RTH and flying it manually...

I put small sunglasses on the eyes of my Mavic . Looks cool as hell .
