Hey everyone,
I'm gonna but of a pickle. I'm travelling to Asia in about 1 month and the plan is to backpack through several countries. One of them is Thailand. I have been reading of the laws and regulations regarding flying a drone in Thailand. I had no idea that you had to register your drone. And by reading different websites it takes about 3-6 months to get your drone registered in Thailand. I will not be able to get my drone registered in time! So my question is...can I get my drone into the country without the paperwork and just not fly it in Thailand? Or will it get confiscated?

Thanks fellow pilots! :)

This is answered a number of times. My experience is that if you are not a Thai resident there is no way you can register.

I however have flown a number of times with no problems. Just use common sense, not in Bangkok or National parks. I always fly where there is not many people around and check with locals, resort owners etc and have never had a problem
