Satellite maps while flying

I have downloaded offline maps for the areas in which I want to fly. But when I am out flying and I click on the maps I can’t get the satellite map view to work.

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing... when downloading maps for offline use only the map view is downloaded, not the sat view.

Could have sworn few years back when I had the Mavic 2 Zoom you could see satellite maps while flying.

Did you choose satellite view when downloading them and did you pinch and zoom the area, I have no issues with the MIni 4 on fly app

The DJI GO 4 app works differently... you can't choose, (it's actually clearly stated by "Offline map is only available with standard map").

Consensus isn't relevant... it's clearly stated in the GO4 app where you chose the map section you want to be downloaded.

That's just plain dumb.....

Satellite maps are infinitely more helpful. If you are flying over bush or wilderness a standard map is useless as its just a flat shape on the map.
