Fitting title btw.

That was like something from the Star Trek days, only it's not.
Watching a light show with drones flying in formation the way they do is awe aspiring, but flying independently and together on their own? I'm stung (lol,) at that reality .

Imagine the police having such drones!!! using facial I.D. The little "scout" would find you and tell the others where you are. Maybe even give them taser stingers. But thats just me being orwellian..................I hope. Future police officers would only have stretchers and just get told where to find and pick-up the convulsing guy that didn't pay his fine for parking next to a hydrant.

How true. They wouldn't even have to drive the purp to the station. Drone delivery!

Fascinating watch. I can see the beneficial applications of this swarm tech - search & rescue (+ column) - setting these loose to independently search a large wooded area with hybrid optical/FLIR (or worst case scenario... methane detectors). I can also see the other side of the coin... these little puppies tricked out with biometric cameras for crowd facial recognition (- column).

@Cafguy

I can't find any more info on this unless, I subscribe to something.

Before I pass this to many people.

2 Years ago, I guess I fell for something, I still have screen shots saved on my PC.
I felt like a failure to my friends that trust me. No Virus's were passed. Thumbswayup

Is there any other links to confirm this.

Rod ..

Not that I know of. The tech is there, just needs really smart people to out it together. I saw this story on a Drone site somewhere.

These are cool also- some may be silent and deadly as well as they are militarized for long distance covert ops- a nefarious use was to sail one across the globe into someone’s port and…. Scary!

Then there’s cool but not scary:

So impressive! I have to admit, I’m a little scared of robots. The way AI is evolving so quickly makes me wonder how it will impact our data protection. It’s already a concern for me, and I feel like we’re only beginning to understand the risks. Right now, I’m already a bit uneasy about how much personal information is out there, and I want to take the right steps to stay protected. I think I’ll reach out to the this Norton Antivirus customer service team to get some advice on securing my data. Better safe than sorry
