Screen Keyboard displays Chinese characters

While trying to add Chrome and Litchi to my RC Pro, I found the keyboard to be displaying Chinese characters and not the English that I needed. I went to settings and keyboard, but the old choice was English and several Cantonese. Not a separated English. Image attached.
These flying robots are incredibly complicated for us older guys!

Not too many people have tried to add both Chrome and Litchi to the RC Pro.

No, I did nothing to the controller and the first time I ever saw the keyboard selection pages was after researching how and where to find access to them.

To check if the Chinese characters could be a secret message, I had the image auto-translated.
The result was...... interesting
