Selling newsworthy video

The money is in shows, not news. You are better off giving it to Reuters to run so it works as a free advertisement for the Archive producers to find it. However it is only on the basis of one play only, no archiving, no affiliates. I did that with my fire tornado vision of 2012 and up till today have licensed it (non-exclusively) for around US$80,000 in fact just remembered I wrote an article on it a few years back: Captured a global news item? NOW what do I do?

Post a short but relevant clip of your content on Youtube (make sure it is YT friendly) and put your contact info in the description inviting enquiries.

When I used to run a dash cam channel (I don't bother anymore) that was how the news got in touch with me to use some footage of mine once. A forewarning, they're unlikely to pay and if they do it won't be much unless it's very notable footage and it's very important to the story.

A ten person robbery might be worth a few pennies though.
